I recently had an incredible office hour session that left me with a fresh perspective on the world of data analytics in the cloud. NexaScale had the privilege of hosting two remarkable experts, Kizito Nwaka and Uneku Ejiga, who shared their insights on the topic: Exploring AWS Analytics: Insights into Amazon Data. The session was really educative!
The session kicked off with a deep dive into the ecosystem of AWS analytic services, exploring the power of data analytics in the cloud. The hosts covered everything from CloudFormation for infrastructure as code, to using Kinesis Firehose for data ingestion, Glue for data transformation, Athena for querying data, QuickSight for data visualization, and even a Jupyter Notebook for data exploration and analysis. One of the exciting aspects of the session was the hands-on practical with a demo that showcased the seamless integration of various AWS services. Kizito and Uneku provided practical advice, sharing best practices and tips for those looking to utilise the power of AWS analytics.
